Ketut Pasek used to join the transmigration program to South Sumatra. They returned and settled in Bali since 2019.
Source of income:
- Ketut Pasek and his wife work as rice farmers. The harvest period in the rice fields is every 3 months on average. In one harvest they can earn around Rp. 900,000 per 3 months.
- If there are other projects/jobs, sometimes they also work as odd jobs, project workers, etc.
- To get additional income, they also raise 1 cow belonging to their neighbor.
Cost of living:
- Free children’s school tuition. Pay clothes and book fees once a year or if necessary.
- Children’s pocket money, child I: Rp. 2,000, child II: Rp. 1,000 per day.
House Condition: quite apprehensive. It’s more like a hut with 1 bedroom for 5 of them to sleep without mattress.
