Ketut Rina‘s oldest sister is married and lives with her family. Ketut Rina and her sister; Komang Risa lives with their uncle and grandfather. Their father has died, their mother has remarried, their grandmother has also died.

Source of income:

Their uncle; Komang Suardana (M/30 years old/not yet married) works as a cashew plantation farmer. If he is lucky, he can get a cashew harvest of around Rp. 25 million in a year. However, it is not uncommon for crops to fail due to weather and pests.
If someone asks, their uncle can also work as a motorcycle taxi driver. Their grandfather was old and couldn’t work anymore. Their uncle was the backbone of this family.
To earn extra income, their uncle also raises a cow and several chickens.

Free junior high school tuition. Tuition fees for private vocational school: Rp. 150,000 per month. Also they need to pay for clothes and books once a year or if necessary.
Ketut’s pocket money: Rp. 5,000 per day, Komang’s pocket money: Rp. 10,000 per day.
