Nurul Jadid orphanage was established in 2004, now taking care of 38 children:
- Pre-school-aged children = 4
- Elementary school aged children = 20
- Junior High School-aged children = 10
- Senior High School-aged children = 2
- graduated from high school = 2
In fulfilling their needs, the orphanage get donation from:
- The government’s social service, the donation is given every year including: rice, mung beans, coconut oil, fund (at about Rp. 600.000 – 700.000 per child per year).
- Tourists staying in the hotels near the orphanage, usually in form of book and milk.
- The community nearby, especially if there’s certain ceremonies.
Your donation to Nurul Jadid orphanage can be in form of:
- Foods and cooking : rice, meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, cooking oil, and spices.
- Bathing and washing equipment: detergent, soap, toothpaste, tooth brush, shampoo, and dish soap.
- Fund for school needs (school fee, building fee, uniform, book, etc) and operational needs: electricity, water, etc.
