Ni Putu Loura Citra Lestari (F / 10 years old / 5th grade elementary school) has 2 sisters;

They lived with their grandparents, their father had died, their mother had remarried and lived on Sumbawa. Putu Loura’s school location is about 1 km from her house, she goes to school on foot.

Source of income:

  • Her grandfather and grandmother worked as rainfed farmers, the planting / harvesting season was only 1 time in 1 year, that is during the rainy season, during the dry season they could not grow crops due to dry / barren soil conditions.
  • To get extra income they raise 2 cows.
  • They has not received assistance of rice-for-the-poor (Raskin) from the government.

Cost of living:

  • Elementary school tuition fees are free, pay clothes and book money once a year or if necessary.
  • Kindergarden school tuition Rp. 15,000 per month
  • Putu Loura’s pocket money: Rp. 3,000 per day
  • Kadek Larasati’s pocket money: Rp. 2,000 per day
