Ni Ketut Sika lives alone in her house. Her husband died long ago. She has a daughter who is married and lives in Denpasar. Though her daughter rarely comes home, she often sends money to her mother. Ketut Sika cannot work as she suffers from leg pain from rheumatism and gout. She is unsteady on her feet when she walks.<\/p>\n

The condition of her house: the floor is concrete, the walls are made of cement blocks and the roof is corrugated tin sheeting. The house is very small measuring only 1.5 metres by 2 metres. There is a mattress though very thin and there is no electricity. For light she uses a lantern hanging on the wall and she gets water from a neighbor.<\/p>\n

You could assist this woman by providing a mattress and pillows, providing her basic daily food needs or by providing funds for her to buy daily necessities.<\/p>\n
