Ni Wayan Sukati and her husband, who is deceased, had three children; one son and 2 daughters. One of her sons lives next door. Ni Wayan Sukati has had a stroke and cannot walk and therefore cannot work. The son living next door looks after her and provides food for her. He works as a labourer on building projects.<\/p>\n
The state of her house: part of the floor is compacted earth, part is cement, the walls are of woven bamboo, the roof is tiled. There is only one room and the kitchen and sleeping area share the same space. There is no mattress; she sleeps on a woven reed mat.<\/p>\n
