Ni Wayan Tantri lives alone in her home. Her husband is deceased and her two children are married.<\/p>\n

The state of her house: the floor made of compacted earth, as are the walls; the roof is\u00a0asbestos cement sheeting. There is only one room; the kitchen and the sleeping area share the same space. This woman has already received a donation of a mattress. There is no electricity and no running water.<\/p>\n

Source of income: Ni Wayan Tantri works as a farmer and does not have a regular income, “When the coconuts are harvested, I get about 100,000 Rupiah. The harvest is every 3 months\u201d, she told us in Balinese. For her day-to-day food, she sells whatever she can from her garden. She also sometimes sells her chickens.<\/p>\n
