Update 11 December 2015: we tried to open an account for this man however we were not able to owing to a number of issues.<\/p>\n

Update on June 10th, 2016<\/a>; a donor is building a house for him, it is not finished yet.<\/p>\n

I Wayan Wali lives alone in his house. He has no wife and no children. Owing to his psychiatric illness, it was difficult to communicate with him.<\/p>\n

The state of his dwelling is cause for concern. The floor is made of earth, the walls are made up of timber sheets and planks placed haphazardly such that there are holes everywhere. The roof is made of woven coconut leaves. The dwelling is decrepit and leans to one side and there are many leaks. There is only one small room and the bed is right in front of the fireplace. The bed is very small and is covered only with plastic sheets and used street banners. There is no mattress. There is also no electricity and no running water.<\/p>\n

Source of incomes: I Wayan Wali climbs coconut trees to pick coconuts for which he gets 20,000 Rupiah per day. He works about 4 days per month. For the rest of the month, he does any work that the neighbours ask him to do in order to eat.<\/p>\n

You could support I Wayan Wali by providing him with his basic everyday needs, by giving him money to buy his everyday needs, or by donating funds to repair his house or build him a basic house.<\/p>\n
