    I Wayan Edi Nata never knew his father as he was born out of wedlock. After his birth, his mother abandoned him and married another man. He has been cared for by his grandparents. He attends school at SD3 in Batukandik which is close to where he lives.<\/p>\n

    His grandmother works as a farmer on land which depends only on rainfall and which therefore can only planted in the rainy season (one crop per year). She does not do any other work during the dry season due to her age. She only has an income when the farm produce is harvested.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The state of their dwelling: the floor is cement, the walls are made of blocks, the roof is\u00a0asbestos cement sheeting. There is a bedroom and a kitchen. There is running water and electricity. They do not own the house \u2013 it is owned by a family member.<\/p>\n

    You could support I Wayan Edi Nata and his grandmother by providing their basic food needs, by donating money for them to buy their daily necessities or by providing some pocket money for Wayan\u2019s schooling.<\/p>\n
