{"id":3097,"date":"2016-06-05T00:46:42","date_gmt":"2016-06-05T00:46:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/balicaringcommunity.org\/en\/?p=3097"},"modified":"2019-01-03T13:19:33","modified_gmt":"2019-01-03T13:19:33","slug":"the-house-built-for-ni-wayan-pejet-an-elderly-woman-living-alone-in-the-village-of-nawa-kerti-abang-karangasem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/balicaringcommunity.org\/en\/the-house-built-for-ni-wayan-pejet-an-elderly-woman-living-alone-in-the-village-of-nawa-kerti-abang-karangasem.html","title":{"rendered":"Housing Assistance for Ni Wayan Pejet, an elderly woman living alone in the Village of Nawa Kerti, Abang, Karangasem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">On 3 June 2016, the Melaspas ceremony was performed at a house which had just been completed so that it could be occupied as quickly as possible by the recipient of the housing assistance \/ the owner of the house, <a href=\"http:\/\/balicaringcommunity.org\/en\/ni-wayan-pejet-poor-lonely-elderly-at-nawa-kerti-village-abang-karangasem.html\" target=\"_blank\">Ni Wayan Pejet<\/a>, an elderly woman living alone in Banjar Bau Kaler, Desa Nawa Kerti, Kecamatan Abang, Kabupaten Karangasem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8545\" alt=\"BESAR\" src=\"http:\/\/balicaringcommunity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Bedah-Rumah-Wayan-Pejet\/BESAR1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8545\" alt=\"BESAR\" src=\"http:\/\/balicaringcommunity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Bedah-Rumah-Wayan-Pejet\/BESAR2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The specifications of the house are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 bedroom measuring 2.45 metres x 5 metres<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Total area of the house: 12.25 square metres<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Floor: concrete<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Walls: cement blocks, not plastered<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Roof: galvanized iron<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Total cost of the building: 7 million Rupiah<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Village of Bau Kaler, I Wayan Punduh, asked the family and residents of the village to work together to transport the building materials from the main road to the building site; a distance of 150 \u2013 200 metres. He requested help from local builders and also asked the local building supply store to assist by giving a \u201cgood price\u201d bearing in mind that Ni Wayan Pejet was a very needy resident.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a list of the names of donors for this building project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eka Nusantoro<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Eny Rahayu<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Janne Apandi<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Ali Tanuri (Adi THT)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Haugiyanto<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Susan Lioe<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Akiong Santo<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">NK<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Acen<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Evy Harjono<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Lilys<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">The following is a timeline for this project:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/balicaringcommunity.org\/en\/visiting-several-poor-villagers-in-karangasem-regency.html\" target=\"_blank\">17 May 2016<\/a>; BCC undertook a survey at the house of Ni Wayan Pejet, in coordination with the head of the village. The village head subsequently worked with the owner of the land to get a permit for the house to be built.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/balicaringcommunity.org\/en\/building-a-house-for-ni-wayan-pejet-an-elderly-woman-living-alone-in-the-village-nawa-kerti-abang-karangasem.html\" target=\"_blank\">26 May 2016<\/a>; BCC handed over 7 million Rupiah (<a style=\"line-height: 1.5;\" href=\"http:\/\/balicaringcommunity.org\/download\/lampiran-tanda-terima.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">receipt attached<\/a>) to I Wayan Punduh, the Head of the Village of Bau Kaler (08563825220\/081936540820), as payment for the house for Ni Wayan Pejet.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">28 May 2016; a Ngeruak ceremony was performed and the construction of the house began.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">3 June 2016; the house was finished and handed over to its new owner.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Notes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The old house was not demolished but is being used as a kitchen.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">BCC has provided 1 divan \/ bed.
