Update on June 8th, 2017<\/a>; Wayan Widiari received housing assistance from BCC donor.<\/p>\n

Update on May 27th, 2021; Wayan Widiari and her husband are still in good health.<\/p>\n

Ni Wayan Widiari and her husband have been married about 20 years but had no children yet, they were alone, the husband often fall ill; rheumatism, gout and heartburn.<\/p>\n

Sources of income: they both work as farm laborers; hoeing the field \/ garden belongs to someone else with a wage of Rp. 40,000 per person per day. Within a month they get a job each approximately 10 days depending on planting \/ harvesting. For additional income, they also take care of 1 cows. They have received assistance from the government in a form of Raskin (rice) every month.<\/p>\n

Condition of the house: there is one room used for the kitchen, they sleep outside \/ on the front porch, his bed covered with a tarpaulin to be invisible from the outside, 1 bed with a mattress. They live in the same yard with a brother-in-law, cousins, and parents in-laws, their family\u2019s economic conditions is better than her conditions.<\/p>\n

On the ground floor, the walls of woven bamboo, roofing of asbestos, electricity is available by sticking \/ ride from a neighbor’s house, the water is not available; ask for water at brother-in-law\u2019s house, land-premise location of residence.<\/p>\n
