This program was launched on 1st August 2016 and continues to help those in need.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Some of the underlying ideas regarding the program are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Second-hand items that are no longer in use can benefit for those in need.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Donating second-hand items is eco-friendly.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Second-hand items are a blessing for the good of others and the environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">The concept of sharing is rooted in humanitarianism.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">We accept donations of used goods as follows:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Used wearable clothing including hats, bags and shoes<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Children toys; dolls or other toys<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Used bicycles<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Metal; iron, aluminum and copper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Wood; exterior door frames, windows and beams<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Home furnishings; used cabinets, mattresses, carpets, sofas, tables, chairs and storefronts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Used electronics; TV\u2019s, radio tapes, amplifiers, irons, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, CPU\u2019s, monitors, handphones, fans, dispensers, batteries and cables.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Other used goods that are worth to be donated to underprivileged people or which can still be repaired or sold.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">What are the second-hand goods for?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Second-hand goods such as used clothing, children toys, bicycles, furniture etc that can still be used will be repaired\/serviced first (if necessary) and then donated to those in need.
