Update on October 13, 2014<\/a>: Ni Nengah Masna received housing assistance from PT. Bali Eka Jaya (Eka Jaya Bali Wisata)<\/p>\n

Update on October 4th, 2017<\/a>; we received an information that Ni Nengah Masna had died<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Ni Nengah Masna is a poor elderly woman living alone in ahut at Br. Sangging, Akah Village, near the heart of Klungkung’s capital city. Her condition is poor, because she is old, Nengah Masna was often sick; she had to use cane to walk, one of her hand was also stiff after she fell down, automatically she can’t do anything, everyday she lived from donation given by her family and neighbor.<\/p>\n

The hut where Ni Nengah Masna lived is not proper anymore; there’s only one room sized at approximately 2.5m x 2m, the wall is broken, the roof was made from holed iron sheeting \u2013 it leakes when the rain falls, almost every part of her hut is broken. There’s no electricity, only oil lamp at night, no toilet, no bathroom, fortunately there’s a donation from a foundation as they perform an effort to provide fresh water.<\/p>\n
