Gusti Ayu Nasih lives next to her son’s house. Her husband is deceased. Her son, I Gusti Ngurah Wisnaya, has had his house renovated through a government project. He has not been able to work since he developed cataracts in his eyes.
The condition of Gusti Ayu Nasih’s dwelling: the floor is concrete but broken in places, the walls are canvas and the roof is tiled. The house has a lean, is in poor condition and leaks in a few places.
Source of income: Gusti Ayu Nasih sells vegetables on the roadside near her house. “I get about 15,000 Rupiah per day. I work about 15 days each month. I can’t sell if there is a ceremony in the Banjar or in the village or if I am not feeling well”, she said in Balinese.
