I Made Suarta dan wife have 4 children:
- 1st childI: M/22 yo/working
- 2nd child : M/19 yo/Schooling
- 3rd child: F/17 yo/Schooling
- 4th child: F/12 yo/Schooling
The schools are quite far from where they live, they normally get a lift from their friends who own transportation.
Income source:
- I Made Suarta works as construction worker with Rp. 100.000 per day, he works 10-15 times a month
- The wife works as farming labour with Rp. 50.000 per day, she gets work 5 times a month.
- They receive a government rice subsidy , 7 kgs every month but they have to pay Rp. 7.000.
Costs of living:
- School fee for 2nd child Rp. 120.000 per month, 3rd child Rp. 130.000, 4th child is free.
- Most of the time their children will not have pocket money for school, if they are lucky they will have @ Rp. 5.000 per day.
