Yasa Kerthi Orphanage was established in 1987 by Bapak Wayan Artha Dipa. Now they take care of 25 children:
- Anak usia SD = 7 orang
- Anak usia SMP = 12 orang
- Usia SMA = 6 orang
All the foster children came from Karangasem area. Some are orphans, the rest come from poor families.
To fulfill their needs, this orphanage receives donation from:
- Sosial Service Department; basic needs assistance valued at Rp. 4.000 per child per day.
- Bali Intercontinental Hotel; Rp. 500.000 per month.
- Prudential; Rp. 1.600.000 per month.
- Bali Kids; medical check up and medicine once every 3 months.
Some doctors nearby provide free medical check up if any of the foster children got sick.
Your donation to the Yasa Kerthi Orphanage can be in form of:
- Foods and Ingredients: rice, meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, oil, and spices.
- Bathing equipments: detergents, soaps, toothpastes, toothbrushes, shampoos, and dish soaps.
- Funds for school expenses (school fees, building fees, uniforms, books, etc) and the orphanage’s operational cost.

I have just sent you a very long message but not sure if you got it or not. M y name is Elizabeth King and my friend is Maraget Aldous. We will be in Bali 4th-11March.Staying at Bali Palms Resort. We have gifts for all the children and some items for yourself such as soap, tooothpaste shampoo and so on. When would be a good day and time to visit the children? We have drawing books for them and 6 packet of coloured pens with 12 in each packet. Also some lip gloss for the girls’ which is a flavoured lipstick with no colour. To keep their lips moist when they get dry. We have some fun action games for the boys. I hope to hear from you soon.

We’ll be in Bali for 2 or 3 weeks between June and July and we would like to provide our help.
Let’s introduce ourselves :
Lise : teacher in french primary school for 10 years (children beetween 3 and 10 years old) I’m able to teach pedagogic methods to your teachers. I can also lead some workshops ( artistic, music, storytelling…). I have worked in gardening for 2 years before becoming teacher.
Bastien : work in computer sciences in french Police, teach french as volunteer in a french association, fluently english speaker. I’m able to teach english as a foreign language. I can also lead some workshops (theater, yoga)
