Nengah Sujana lives alone in his house, his wife has passed away, they used to have 5 children (3 sons and 2 daughters), but their 3 sons have died, 2 of their daughters are married and currently live with their
own families, Nengah Sujana is currently sick, he has difficulty breathing, fatigued, jittery hands, and has general difficulty in doing any activity, even to stand and walk is difficult. He has to be fed and can only
sit and rest most of the time.
Fortunately, Nengah Sujana’s daughter, Nengah Suastini, who is married, still lives in the same village with him, she comes to the house every morning, noon and night to take care of him, including feeding him his meals.
On the other hand, Nengah Suastini’s husband is also sickly, she claims he needs “to be given a shot every week”. Her economic condition is still very poor. Nengah Suastini, despite all her limitations, must take care of both her husband and father in 2 different places.
Source of Income: Nengah Suastini and her husband (when he is healthy) work as farmers, they do not earn any income if there is no harvest, they live off of the government’s rice aid. They also do odd jobs if
there are any.

Today my friend Wayan Tirta visited Nengah Sujana and his daughter and brought some food and 300.000 donation.
And he told me, still many orang miskin (poor people ) in Bebandem….
Communication with mr. Sujana must be via his daughter, because he is deaf.
