On Saturday, 18th April 2015, BCC together with contributor Little Hands – Big Heart Community representative Mrs. Jen Lupton and Mrs. Julie Harrison were attending the Melaspas ceremonial for the finished artesian well at Banjar Ancut, Tista Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency. Mr. Gede Narka, the Banjar chief and all Banjar Ancut residence assist at the ceremony.

“… Banjar Ancut have 99 families residence, most are needy. To get fresh water, the residence had built an artesian well which capacity only able to supply 50 families, while the rest 49 family still difficult to access fresh water. Therefore Mr. Gede Narka as the Chief of Banjar Ancut represented his people requested your help so they able to build additional artesian well and serve all 99 families residence with fresh water…”
The residence difficulty to access fresh water along this time with the artesian well is expected to be the solution.
The Budget Plan enclosed:
- Drilling cost: Rp. 22.000.000,-
- 10 tanks water supply: Rp. 2.200.000,-
- Submersible pump: Rp. 10.000.000,-
- 4inch Pipe, 15 unit: Rp. 750.000,-
- 1inch Pipe, 13 unit: Rp. 520.000,-
- Pipe Glue: Rp. 30.000,-
- 1nch Pipe, 500 Meters: Rp. 5.000.000,-*

- Job Contract value: Rp. 35.500.000, all inclusive for point 1-6 above
- Work warranty: 1 year
- Well Depth: 72 Meters
*Additional cost Rp. 5.000.000 (point 7) is for water storage pipe installation located 500 meters from artesian well. This has not built, and currently use ¾ inch pipe.
