On 15th July 2016 we visited a number of needy families in several villages in the Kabupaten of Karangasem, as follows:
Ni Luh Suartini (female / in her 60s); a poor elderly woman who has been deaf and dumb since birth living alone away from other houses. Her husband died long ago. Fortunately she has a child who lives not far from her and who looks after her.
Ni Ketut Lendri (female / in her 50s); a poor woman living with her child (female / junior secondary school). Her husband is dead. At the time of our visit she was not at home and we were only able to meet with her child.
Ni Ketut Rauh; a poor widow with hardworking children in Banjar Putung, Desa Duda Timur, Selat, Karangasem. During our visit we noted that the roof of the house needed repair. Your assistance is needed to renovate the roof.
