On Friday, January 30th 2015 we visited school and several poor citizen at Karangasem regency.
Sekolah Dasar No. 4 (Elementary School No. 4), Duda Timur village, Selat, Karangasem. Our visit to the school was aimed to mediate potential donator who wanted to help these 2 orphans’ education fee; Ni Komang Titah (f/12 y.o/6th grade) and Ni Komang Nopi Diantari (f/8 y.o/2nd grade), both are studying at this elementary school. On our visit, we met the school principal; Mr. Nengah Supatra and the teachers.

Ni Made Karya; poor elderly who lives alone at Dusun Putung, Duda Timur village, Selat, Karangasem, our visit was to deliver assistance from Mrs. Arline Adinugroho.
I Nengah Kerti (Loyok); poor family with disability at Dusun Celuk Mekar Sari, Tiyingtali village, Abang, Karangasem, our visit was to deliver assistance from Mrs. Merry.
I Wayan Gingsir (M/63 y.o) and his wife Ni Nengah Ribek; poor family at Br. Gria, Culik village, Abang, Karangasem. They have 1 son with mental illness and now is hospitalized at Bangli Mental Hospital. Komunitas Taman Hati (KTH) is now constructing a house for this family due to their current hut is in a very poor condition. Mr. I Nengah Edi Antara as the chief of Dusun Gria took us to their hut.

Ni Nyoman Alit; elderly woman who lives in a hut at Banjar Dinas Seloni, Culik village, Abang, Karangasem. Although she lives in different Banjar, the location is close to Wayan Gingsir’s house. She is blind, and having hearing issue. She also can’t do cooking by herself. She has no kids, luckily there is her nephew/niece who feeds her.
