We visited scavenger’s village at Suwung landfill, Pesanggaran, South Denpasar on Friday, 8 January 2016. Our visit aimed at distributing daily need package from Komunitas Insan Peduli (KIP).
As mentioned previously on our website, Komunitas Insan Peduli (KIP) held an event titled Charity Dinner “We Dance- We Care- We Share”, on 11 December 2015 at New Kuta Hotel, Pecatu, Bali.
There were 40 daily need packages for 40 for poor citizens. Each package equals to IDR 175.000 consisting of:
- 10 kg rice
- 20 pcs instant noodles
- 1 liter cooking oil
- 1 kg sugar
- 0.5 kg coffee
- 1 package for washing/bathing
- 1 package used cloth for adult
- 1 package used cloth for kid
