Assistance for residents affected by the earthquake in Bangli and Karangasem

As a result of the 4.8 magnitude earthquake on Saturday, October 16, 2021, it caused a lot of damage and even casualties. So on October 17, 2021, we delivered assistance to residents affected by the earthquake in Terunyan Village, Kintamani, Bangli and in Ban Village, Kubu, Karangasem.

Terunyan Village, Kintamani, Bangli

The aid was handed over at the Main Post in Terunyan Village because vehicles by land could not pass, including motorbikes. There are 8 main landslide points. Affected residents +/- 1,000 people.

Assistance is distributed from the Main Post via water/lake routes, there are only 2 operational boats. In addition to sending logistical assistance, boats are also prioritized for transporting sick residents, pregnant women, and elderly people.

Ban Village, Kubu, Karangasem

The aid was handed over at the Main Post in Ban Village because access to the houses of affected residents could only be passed by motorbikes. The handover of aid at the Main Post was also witnessed by the chief of the affected residents.

The assistance provided is in the form of; rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, sugar, coffee, snacks, soap, used clothes, pillows, bed linen, etc.
