Update on April 18th, 2015, we have built a water well in the village.

Most of the people in Banjar Ancut lived on a dry hilly area, with main occupation is farming on rainfed rice field and raising cattle (cow or pig). In dry season they usually can’t farming; it’s impossible to grow plants on hard and dried hilly area, while in wet season they usually grow corn or cassava. In other word, in a year, there will only be one harvesting time.
The people of Banjar Ancut consists of 99 poor families. To get fresh water, they have created one artesian well which can only supply fresh water to fulfill the needs of 50 families; the other 49 families still find difficulties in getting fresh water supply. Therefore, Bapak Gede Narka, the head of Dusun Banjar Ancut, asked for your help on behalf of the villagers to allow them creating another artesian well to fill up all the 99 families’ need for fresh water supply.
