On June 28th, 2025 we finished building a new house for Wayan Kastok; a poor family in Banjar Dinas Munduk Waban, Pedawa Village, Banjar District, Buleleng Regency.
The specifications of the house assistance program are as follows:
- 2 bedrooms, each measuring 3 m x 3 m
- Terrace measuring 2 m x 6 m
- Total building area 5 m x 6 m = 30 m2
- Ceramic floor
- Inside wall: plastered and painted bricks
- Front side/terrace wall: plastered and painted bricks
- Outside and back wall: unplastered brick
- Roof: spandex
Donor for this house assistance program is: Ekajaya Fast Ferry (PT. Bali Eka Jaya).
The following is the process of implementing the house assistance program:
- March 1, 2025; BCC team and donors conducted a survey to Wayan Kastok’s house.
- May 8-16, 2025;
1) Coordinate with Wayan Kastok and family, to determine the location of the building, and find a good day to start building the house.
2) Coordinate with local volunteer; Gede Wiradana (0823-2261-4376) to help supervise the project so that the construction of the house is in accordance with the specifications and costs that have been determined.
3) Coordinate with the appointed builder to explain the specifications of the house and the cost of building the house. - May 20, 2025; start building the house.
- June 28, 2025; the house has been completed.
