Update on February 4th, 2021; I Gusti Made Suda is passed away.

I Gusti Made Suda lives alone in his home. His wife died long ago and they had no children.
Despite his age (about 80), this man is still able to work as a porter / carrier at the Tulikup market. He works every day from 3 am until 10 am. “In one day I get about 200,000 Rupiah” he told us in Balinese.
While this is enough income for his daily necessities now, we believe that he may not be strong enough to work as a porter in a few years time because of this age / physical condition.
His house: the floor is cement, the walls are brick and the roof is tiled. The wooden supports of the house, doors and windows are rotten. There are two rooms: one is the bedroom while the other is empty. There is no mattress. Electricity and water are from a neighbour. The renovation assistance from the Gianyar local government has been used to build a “bale dangin” (open pavilion) which is still under construction.
You could assist I Gusti Made Suda by providing his daily necessities or a mattress. Or in a few years time he will need financial assistance to buy his daily food needs.
Please find below some additional information.
