I Kadek Artawan and wife have 2 children:
- 1st child: M/20 yo/only had elementary school, works in a motorbike garage in Kintamani
- 2nd Child : M/15 yo/Schooling, everyday walks to school about 30 minutes in a mountain like dirt road and the same after school to go home.
Income source:
- I Kadek Artawan works as farming labour with Rp. 50.000 to 100.000 per day, he works 5-105 times a month
- The wife works as farming labour with Rp. 20.000 per day, she gets work 5 times a month.
- Additionally they have 5 goats for other source of seasonal income.
- They receive a government rice subsidy, 5 kgs every month but they have to pay Rp. 7.000.
Costs of living:
- School fees for the children is frees.
- School pocket money Rp. 4.000 per day
House condition: to go to their house/location we must by foot 30-45 minutes, up and down hills, when it rains very slippery and dangerous, have to cross a river with a temporary wooden log bridge.
