Ni Ketut Karni and her deceased husband have three kids. Ni Ketut Karni’s husband passed away three years ago

- 3rd child: Female/7 years old/1st grade
The elementary school is located about 3 kilometers from her house and junior high school is located about 5 kilometers. They go to school walking, but sometimes they can get a ride from neighbors.
Source of Income:
- Ni Ketut Karni works as alang-alang cutting worker that responsible to gather the alang-alang. She earns Rp. 80.000 per day. She can work about 7 times in a month.
- She also raise her neighbor’s cow and pig
- She received government help through rice for the poor program. She got 6 kilograms rice per month at the price of Rp.10.000 per kilogram.
Living cost:
- School fee is free. Uniform and book expenses only paid once a year or when necessary.
- 1st child’s pocket money: Rp. 3.000, 2nd and 3rd child Rp 2.000 each child.
House Condition:
- Bedroom: 2, 1 room used as storage, all of them are sleeping in the same room
- Bed base: 1, half of them sleeping on the floor
