When her mother was sick, her father returned her mother to her grandmother’s house, after that, her father never made contact again (lost contact). In 2022 her mother died, Komang Anggreni was then raised by her grandmother, her grandfather also had died.
In front of her grandmother’s house (still in the same yard), there is her uncle’s house (her mother’s brother), but her uncle lives and works in Denpasar, the house is only occupied when her uncle returns home.
Not far from her grandmother’s house, her aunt; Komang Wiwik Suryani (her mother’s sibling) lives with her family (husband & 3 children). Her aunt, along with her mother’s other siblings, often helps meet the needs of Komang and her grandmother when they are short. When we visited, her grandmother was not at home. Komang often played at her aunt’s house because her aunt had several children of the same age as Komang.
Source of income:
- His grandmother can only work making Porosan (used in Balinese offerings) which are sold for around Rp. 25,000 per week.
- To earn extra income, her grandmother raises 1 pig.
