Ni Luh Dian lives with her Grandfather and Grandmother. Her father had died when Luh Dian was a toddler, her mother remarried when her father was still ill. Several relatives including Uncle and his family also live in the same yard with Luh Dian, but to make ends meet, Luh Dian is borne by her grandfather who works as a motorcycle taxi driver. Her grandfather suffers from cataracts, her uncle (Gede Putu Puja/M/42 years) has acute diabetes.
Source of income:
- Her grandfather; Gede Arta works as an ojek (conventional motorcycle taxi driver) with an income of around 25,000 – 30,000 per day.
- To earn extra income, Ni Made Sanja’s grandmother raises 1 pig.
