Update on 5 March 2016; I Ketut Agus Arta (4th son) passed away.
Update on February 22nd, 2018; Ni Luh Putu Juliani (1st son) passed away.
Update on March 26th, 2018; Ni Wayan Mariani (5th son) passed away. His only child who still alive is Ni Komang Dani Ayu Lestari (3rd son).
The family of Made Gunung lived close to Tirta Gangga tourism object, Karangasem. You can park your car and ask the parking men within the area of Tirta Gangga. They all know this family. From there, you can walk or ride a motorbike to Made Gunung’s house, about 400 meters away. Made Gunung’s house was built by an American tourist; Mr. Daniel.
With small and irregular income, Made Gunung often found difficulties in sending his sick children with cerebral palsy to the hospital. His wife; Ni Ketut Putu cannot work since she has to take care of the four children.

Difficult to say this: now the parents lost again a child, Mariani passed away.
From their 5 children now only Komang Dani is left, the girl that is in SMP class 3.
We have great respect how the parents all those years tried to take good care for their children in their poor and difficult circumstances.

Very sorry for this family: Luh, the eldest daughter who was married and pregnant, passed away last month, only 21 years old.
Mariani, the child with the small head, is sick and now only weighs 9 kilo.
The parents still take good care as much as possible for their children.

Yesterday the 12 year old boy Ketut who like his younger sister suffered from microcephaly (very small head) passed away.

Komang Dani is now in SMP, first grade. We have a sponsor for her, she gets now 250.000 rp per month. For the handicapped children we try to bring them every month a box of Proten.
In august 2015 the children were 2 weeks in hospital Amlapura. The goverment helped.
