Update on December 28th, 2017; Nengah Mursi is passed away.
I Nengah Mursi lives alone in his home. His wife died long ago. They had 3 children: 2 male and 1 female – all married. One of his sons lives in the same village and works as a farmer. It is that son who looks after his father and provides food for him every day. Nengah Nursi cannot work because of his age, because he is deaf and he suffers from kidney stones.
The state of his home: the floor is cement, the walls are made from woven bamboo and clay, the roof is corrugated tin sheeting. The room is very untidy. There is no mattress.
You could assist this elderly man by providing a mattress and pillows, by providing his daily needs or by giving money for him to buy his daily needs.
