Update on 23 September 2021; they have received housing assistance. Now they live in that house. Its location is opposite the location of their old house. We posted the documentation at the bottom of this page.

I Nengah Subrata his wife; Ni Nengah Tama have 3 children;
- 1st son, works in Denpasar as a house maid.
- 2nd daughter is in 6th level of elementary school
- 3rd daughter is 4 y.o
His house condition; soiled floor, bamboo wall, holes in the wall are covered by used banner, asbestos roof, no mattress, there is only one bed room for 4 people and also a kitchen.
Fortunately there is a hut which was used by his younger brother; I Wayan Rekam, who has already moved and lives in a house which was donated by the government. Therefore, Nengah Subrata could use that house for his children.
He lives with his mother; Ni Wayan Blasin who lives in a nearly collapse hut in the same house yard. We write a separate report about her in this page.
Nengah Subrata and wife work as a bamboo pin (a means to make a Balinese ceremonial equipment; made from bamboo) maker for living. “We can only get IDR 10.000 per day” he said in Balinese accent.
Your donation can be in a form of basic groceries and funds for to buy daily needs, mattress, pillows, used bike for his daughter, or you can donate funds for his children’s school fees and her house reconstruction.
Below we provide several documentation of the visit.
