Update on August 27, 2019; Nyoman Darmiani has stopped her study, she refused to continue her study.
Update on August 6, 2023; she moved to Denpasar, lived with her relatives.
Nyoman Darmiani lives with her brother; Nengah Darmika (M / 25 years) along with his family (wife and 3 children). Her father died, her mother remarried. All living expenses including school fees are borne by his brother. The distance from school from her home is around 500 meters, they go to school on foot.
Source of income:
- Her brother; Nengah Darmika works as a laborer loading / reloading sand from / to trucks with an income of around Rp. 100,000 per day. Within 1 month, he can work 12 times. While his wife cared for 3 children at home.
- To obtain additional income, they raise 2 cows belonging to their neighbors, and 1 self-owned pig.
- They have not received the rice-for-the-poor assistance (Raskin) from the government.
