I Nyoman Jani and his wife Ni Nyoman Pinpin have 3 children:

1st Son, Single, works as Rafting labor in Telaga Waja river
2nd Daughter, widow with 2 children, 1 child with her and another child with her husband. She is in depression due to her divorce. She is jobless
3rd son, single. Primary school graduated jobless

Sources of income: Nyoman Jani and his wife work as agricultural laborers; wood and coconut carrier, handyman subjected to available job, his income is uncertain. The earning of her first child; I Wayan Suparta is also uncertain, depending on if there are guests who do rafting, he is not an employees of the rafting company, but a casual laborer / porters of rafting equipment.

I Nyoman Jani’s house is located in the middle of the farm, far enough away from the road, about 30 minute walking, or get faster on a motorcycle.

Condition of the house: soiled floor, woven bamboo walls, asbestos roof, housing conditions have been skewed, there is only one bed for them 6 to sleep (including their grandchildren), “sometimes I was forced to sleep in the kitchen,” said Mr. Nyoman. They are lucky for having housing help from a social community, the house is now being built.
