Pekak Minik lives by himself alone in the middle of tegalan which located near the entrance door of Elephant Safari Park at Taro village, whereas his wife alreafy passed away 25 yeats ago. For his daily meals, Pekak Minik works as farmer and having several chickens and pigs. Sometimes, Pekak Minik is ordered to mekemit/overnight at Pura at Pura Dalem Pingit which is locatef near his house, “I get paid Rp 10.000 per night, I do mekemit/overnight at Pura 2 to 4 times in a month” said Pekak in Balinese language.
His house is very simple but clean and neat, there are 2 rooms: bedroom and kitchen. “I am lucky there was a good guy donated me a mattress” said Pekak when we entered his bedroom.
