Gede was born out of wedlock. His father “didn’t admit him”, his mother had remarried. Gede now lives with his grandmother, his grandfather has passed away. While his grandmother was working, Gede lived alone at home.

Source of income:

At an old age, his grandmother works as a casual labourer, sometimes as a farmhand, depends on any job available, income is not certain.
His grandmother also looks after 1 cow and 1 pig owned by her neighbour. There is income only if she sells the cow/pig.

Cost of living:

Gede’s school fee is free. Only pay for clothes and book once a year or when necessary.
Gede’s pocket money: Rp. 3,000 – 5,000 per day.
