Condition of the school: quite apprehensive
- Almost all classrooms had leaky roofs that damaged the ceilings, and there were even classrooms whose ceilings had collapsed
- The teacher’s dormitory building was heavily damaged, unable to be used
- The ceiling of the library building is perforated
- Some of the window sills are weathered/broken
- Wall paint is dull, needs to be repainted
- Some school furniture such as chairs, tables, cupboards are damaged/rotten
Assistance needed:
- Funding assistance for roof repairs (including roof trusses) and ceilings for classrooms. Roof repair is the most urgent.
- Funding assistance for the repair of teacher’s dormitory and library
- Funding assistance for the repair/painting of wooden window sills, doors, walls and school furniture
- Reading/lesson books to fill the library room, furniture for classrooms and library
- Assistance with the arrangement of school garden
