Update on November 12, 2025: SDN 5 Batukandik has received 11 laptops, along with laptop bags, mice, and headsets.

School Condition:

The school does not have laptops for 5th grade students when participating in Olimpiade Siswa Nasional (OSN) dan Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer (ANBK) – National Student Olympiad and Computer-Based National Assessment. During OSN and ANBK, the school borrows laptops from individuals or other schools.
The National Student Olympiad (OSN) is a competition in the fields of science and sports for elementary, middle, and high school students throughout Indonesia. OSN is held in stages, starting from the school, regional, to national levels. OSN aims to find potential talents and provide equal opportunities for students throughout Indonesia to excel.
The Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) is an evaluation program for the education system in Indonesia carried out by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology using computers. ANBK aims to map the quality of education, measure students’ competencies, characters, and learning environments, and produce information to improve the quality of learning.
Most of the students’ desks and chairs are still in good condition, only a few desks are damaged.
Several classroom doors, toilet door, and warehouse door are damaged.
Several blackboards were also damaged, but a budget has been set for the procurement of new blackboards.
Lack of reading books for elementary school children in the library.
The ceiling of the teacher’s room is broken.
