On Friday, May 6, 2011, we visited Pengotan Village Bangli together with Evan. As usual, our visit was aimed to verify the BCC’s cow donations given to the poor families and to deliver aids and reliefs from the BCC’s donors. Accompanied by the Pengotan village’s head of affairs, Bapak Wayan Darta, we visited 5 poor families, 3 of them were from Dusun Padpadan and 2 of them were from Dusun Delod Umah/Delod Desa.
The 5 visited poor families were the family of: 1) Ni Wayan Rame, a widow with 2 children 2) Bapak Wayan Gunung and his wife Ni Ketut Montok 3) Bapak Wayan Suti and his wife Ni Wayan Runti 4) I Komang Darma, a young man freeloading in his uncle’s house, and 5) Nengah Rawi and his wife Ni Wayan Tanya.

Most of them were working as farmers, farm workers and construction workers as well as casual workers. Those 5 poor families had already received the BCC’s cows donation.
