I Wayan Mara had married but had no children, his wife had died, he lives alone. Still in his yard, there is his niece’s hut who occasionally lives there.

Source of income:

I Wayan Mara works as a plantation farmer, which does not have a steady income. In the plantation he will grow yams and cassava to eat mixed with rice, not for sale. To eat, sometimes helped by his niece.
He has not received rice-for-the-poor assistance (Raskin) from the government.
