On June 18th, 2017 we followed up the house renovation plan for I Wayan Genti (Male/around 75 years old); an elderly lives in Br. Dinas Mumbul, Desa Jungutan, Kecamatan Bebandem, Karangasem Regency.
Our visit aimed to:
- Discuss the position of the building as well as finding the best date to start building with I Wayan Genti
- Explain the house specification and the cost of building with the selected builder.
- Coordinate the project supervision with the head of sub-village and BCC’s volunteer in Karangasem area in order to ensure the renovation goes according to the specification and the cost that has been discussed.
Our visit also attended by:

We also distributing the cash donation from BCC’s donor, Mr. I Ketut Putra Rp. 250.000 to I Wayan Genti.
Afterward, we visited some of the underprivileged person in order to distribute the cash donation of BCC’s donor as follow :

- Donation Rp. 1.000.000 from Ibu Irmawati to I Made Rawan
- Donation Rp. 200.000 from Ibu Nila Sukandar to Ni Made Kerta
- Donation Rp. 460.000 from Ibu Cahyandari Listy to Sang Ayu Niang Korta
- Donation Rp. 300.000 from Ibu Nila Sukandar to Sang Ayu Niang Korta
- Donation Rp. 250.000 from Bapak I Ketut Putra to Desak Nyoman Sayang
- Donation Rp. 300.000 from Ibu Nila Sukandar to Desak Nyoman Sayang
- Donation Rp. 474.000 from Ms. Lynda Pearson to I Gusti Made Suda

Update: Ni Made Kerta has occupied a better house compared to the previous one. The location is still in the same compound, but moved slightly closer to the entrance. The documentation of her house can be seen as follow :
We also visited the family of I Wayan Dana; an underprivileged family with 3 disabilities and mentally disorder children in Jl. Raya Puputan Gang Askes, Renon, Denpasar. He wasn’t at home when we came. His children now live in Karangasem. When we came to visit them, Wayan Dana and his wife was visiting one of their children that currently sick. Below are the documentation of their new place to live, the location is nearby the old house. However, the situation of the new house is not better than the previous one.
