On 14 November 2024, we finished building a simple house for Ketut Putra’s family; an underprivileged family in Br. Macang, Macang Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency.
The specifications of the house assistance program are as follows:
- 1 bedroom measuring 2.5 m x 3 m
- Terrace measuring 1.2 m x 3 m
- Total building area 3.7 m x 3 m = 11.1 m2
- Floor: ceramic
- Inside wall: plastered and painted bricks
- Front side/terrace wall: plastered and painted bricks
- Outside and back wall: unplastered brick
- Ceiling: Calsiboard
- Roof: tile
The donor for this house assistance program is: MASA HITAM – Student Representative Council of the Faculty of Engineering and Planning, Warmadewa University
The following is the process of implementing the housing assistance program:
- July 24, 2020; our team conducted a survey at Ketut Putra’s house.
- 23 – 30 October 2024;
1) Coordinate with Ketut Putra and families, to determine the location of the building, and find a “good day” to start building the house.
2) Coordinate with BCC Volunteer in Karangasem area; I Wayan Sudarsana (0852-3840-0091) to help supervise the project so that the house construction meets the specified specifications and costs.
3) Coordinate with the appointed builder to explain the specifications of the house and the costs of building the house. - November 4, 2024; start building the house
- November 14, 2024; the house has been completed
- December 1, 2024; the house was handed over to Ketut Putra’s family.
