On 13 January 2025, we finished building a house for Komang Rodya, an elderly person who lives alone in Dusun Macang, Macang Village, BebandemDistrict, Karangasem Regency.
The specifications for the house renovation program are as follows:
- 1 bedroom measuring 2.5 m x 3 m
- Terrace measuring 1.2 m x 3 m
- Total building area 3.7 m x 3 m = 11.1 m2
- Ceramic floor
- Inside wall: plastered and painted bricks
- Front side/terrace wall: plastered and painted bricks
- Outside and back wall: unplastered brick
- Ceiling: Calsiboard
- Roof: tile
Donor for this house assistance program is: Ekajaya Fast Ferry (PT. Bali Eka Jaya).
The following is the process of implementing the housing assistance program:
- November 25, 2024; BCC team and donors conducted a survey at Komang Rodya’s house.
- 29 – 31 December 2024;
1) Coordinate with Komang Rodya and family, to determine the location of the building, and find a good day to start building the house.
2) Coordinate with BCC Volunteer in Karangasem area; I Wayan Sudarsana (0852-3840-0091) to help supervise the project so that the construction of the house is in accordance with the specifications and costs that have been determined.
3) Coordinate with the appointed builder to explain the specifications of the house and the cost of building the house. - January 3, 2025; start building the house
- January 13, 2025; the house has been completed.
