Komang Rodya has never been married. He lives alone in his house that is located in the middle of a rice field. To get to his house, one has to walk on foot through the rice field’s trail for about 150 meters.
Source of income: Komang Rodya is a farmer who works on a 15 are of rice field. He plants rice or other crops, depending on the season. He usually harvests once every 6 months; he will get about 50 kg of rice or corn. But it is not for sale, as he uses it as food supply for 6 months.
He needs to sell his chicken to get income whenever he wants to buy other side dish. “Every day I eat the rice or corn with water spinach or yam that I take from the garden. If I want to eat other side dish, I have to sell my chicken,” he said. Other than chickens, he also raises his neighbor’s cow.
