Made Seranti was married once, he divorced long time ago. They don’t have a child. He now lives alone in the middle of snake fruit farm.

Source of income:

Made Seranti works as farm labor at a snake fruit farm. During the harvest season, he could earn Rp. 250.000 (snake fruit harvest season only once a year). When the time comes to harvest the coconut, he could earn Rp. 150.000 (every two months). To make the ends meet, he sells wood fire with the income of Rp. 5.000 per day.
He received affordable rice program (Raskin) from the government. He receives 30 kgs of rice every 6 months from the government.

House condition: not in a good condition, small house with small bed. His house located in the middle of snake fruit farm, could be reached by walking 200 meters.

Update on November 25, 2021

On November 25, 2021, we visited him at his house. Some updates are as follows;

Made Seranti was sick at that time. He just returned from the hospital after being hospitalized for 1 week due to back cramps. Previously Made Seranti had also undergone prostate surgery.
Meanwhile, while he was sick, he was invited to stay at his nephew’s house; Wayan Suarta (0853-3344-4599) so that someone can take care of him. When we visited, he could only sit and lie down, because he was suffering from pain in his waist.
