Update on July 22th, 2021; Nyoman Roti condition is already sickly, She can’t walk.

Ni Nyoman Roti lives alone. Her husband died 5 years ago. They did not have any children.

Source of income: to fulfill her everyday needs, she sells produce from her garden, e.g. bananas, banana leaves, sweet potato leaves, fern leaves, etc. At 3 am she walks for one hour to take her farm produce to sell in the market in the village of Rendang.

Her dwelling: Ni Nyoman Roti’s home is in the middle of her farm about 40 minutes walk to the main road or less by motorbike. The floor of her home is made of earth, the walls are woven bamboo and coconut leaves, the roof is tiled. There is only one room and her bed shares the same space as the kitchen. There is a bed but no mattress. There is no running water and no electricity. To get water, she has to walk 30 minutes to a spring.

Your assistance to Ni Nyoman Roti could be in the form of providing her everyday necessities, donating money so that he can buy those necessities for herself or by providing her with a mattress and pillows. You could also donate money to repair her home or for the building of a simple dwelling.
